You and three friends will get the unique experience of enjoying breakfast pastries and coffee with Chef Laurence Jossel at San Francisco institution, NOPA. Jossel co-founded this neighborhood restaurant to make simple, hearty, organic meals with a focus on local ingredients and sustainability, and over the last 11+ years NOPA has held a dear place in San Franciscans’ hearts and stomachs. After the light snack, you’ll join him for his regular Thursday shopping trip at the San Rafael farmers’ market where many local chefs seek fresh ingredients from local small farms and food purveyors. There you’ll see firsthand how Jossel sources the ingredients provide the foundation for all of the NOPA’s most memorable dishes.
